  Deliberately rude for no apparent reason! It was not very busy at the time of my visit thank goodness. I walked in and being new to the state I am not familiar with the procedure for MS offices. I approached a lady at the desk that was on her cell phone to simply ask where to get a ticket for the line. She flips out "can't you see the computer, get ya ticket and wait". I proceeded to the computer hidden behind a pile of junk and nearly out of reach. I waited and was eventually called up. I still maintained my positive and cheery attitude hoping this would show her I'm not a disgruntled customer. This however did nothing. This is quite possibly the most rude person I have encountered in a customer/teller situation. I can deal with that, but what really got to me was this little old lady that came in to renew her license. This lady must have been in her mid 70's and did the same thing I did. Approached the counter to inquire of the process to get in line. The counter woman proceeds to yell at the woman for not getting a ticket at the computer, absolutely humiliating this poor little old lady. After nearly two hours I was able to make it out with a new license. God help anyone that has to visit that awful place.

  You morons had your office closed when I had to renew my license. You do not get to close the office entirely just to go to a stupid regional meeting while there are more pressing matters that you have to attend to, like serving the people. If you have to have a meeting then you can do it without closing all the offices. The person in charge of the DMV in Desoto County should be replaced because they are doing a piss poor job at handling driving affairs.

  I've been attempting to take my permit test for the past month and the wait takes so long and the staff is rude and just looks like their dead inside. On top of that the questions are actually ridiculous, they ask questions about how to obtain my drivers license but that wasn't even in my book or in the practice tests
